Kinnarps has updated its Series[P] desks this year. They have been pared down to become even sleeker, and the desktop is now available in new colours.
Series[P] is an ergonomic sit/stand desk that was launched onto the market in 2010. Kinnarps is now updating the design of this series, for instance with a chamfered tabletop edge and hidden mechanisms. A sliding tabletop is also being launched, which simplifies cabling.
In updating the desk, Kinnarps has also optimised energy use by the control units which allow the desk to be raised and lowered to the right height. In the new range, the standard control unit consumes 0.3 watts in the standby position. A desk is also available with a control unit that consumes only 0.1 watts in this position, making it one of the most energy-lean desks on the market.
The updated and affordable Series[P], which will be re-launched in 2013, will be available in oak, beech or birch veneers, in oak, beech or birch laminate, as well as in the colours light grey, white or black. In the standard range, the desktop is available in several finishes, and in addition the desk can be specially adapted for customers who prefer a more personalised design.
