Better at Work

- Kinnarps’ message at the Stockholm Fair

At this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair, Kinnarps will not only offer new products but also present its ideas about the environment, ergonomics, design and integrated solutions.

The Kinnarps stand at the 2009 Furniture Fair will highlight the company’s ideals. One of these is its concern for the environment. Kinnarps has oriented its operations to the sparing use of resources ever since its foundation in 1942, long before the global environmental threat had become a reality. In recognition of its consistently environmental approach, Kinnarps was selected as a “Preferred partner” for IUCN ’s new Conservation Centre in Gland, Switzerland.

IUCN, the world’s oldest environmental network with over 10,000 ecology experts around the globe, chose an exclusive group of partners for this prestigious construction project. Kinnarps was commissioned to furnish the building. Visitors to the Kinnarps stand at this year’s Stockholm Furniture Fair will see a model of the new Conservation Centre, which aims to be one of the world’s most environmentally friendly buildings.

Apart from the environment aspect, Kinnarps will also illustrate ways of working with ergonomics, integrated solutions and customised furniture, including a range of specially coordinated colours. Customers with creative flair can personalise their furniture by a suitable combination of design and colour, an option also illustrated by specific examples on the stand.

Kinnarps will also present new products at the Fair as well as exciting new material innovations. Even if the recession has hit the market, Kinnarps nevertheless feel it important to present the extensive range as well as cost-effective solutions. That’s why Kinnarps focus on integrated offer for the workplace.

The Stockholm Furniture Fair opens on February 4, 2009, and Kinnarps will be at its usual place in Hall C, stand C15:51.
