Our clothes in the future will tell us how we feel, warn us about junk food and tell us when it is time to go out for a run.

The Next Black is an exciting documentary film by David Dworsky and Victor Köhler which had its online premiere during the summer of 2014, in which some of the worlds' leading futurologists in the fashion industry shared their thoughts on the meaning of the fast technological development. The film is a small masterpiece about one of the most sensitive issues of our time, how for instance we have to tackle the growing environmental problem within the fashion and textile industry. One of the many interesting speakers in the film is Suzanne Lee, Creative Director at Biocoture.
"Perhaps the most innovative news is the potential of biological production, which means that living organisms are used to "make" garments from start to finish. In this way, there is never the issue of any unnecessary waste," says Suzanne.
Another amazing development is in the "wearable tech" field, with clotheswear that are fitted with sensors that measure blood sugar, monitor our pulse and body temperature like your very own private nurse. Adidas is a company that has made major advancements and actually already launched the miCoach Elite System last year.
"I think that most people are interested in being told how to feel better and live longer, not just athletes," says Matt Hymers, Product Manager at Adidas.
