Kinnarps is making a contribution to responsible waste management by sponsoring the ‘Clean Sweden’ campaign. The campaign, which is working to keep roads and beaches clean from waste, is the largest environmental campaign for sports clubs in Sweden.
Tomas Ekström, Director of Quality and Environment within Kinnarps Group, comments on the sponsorship:
“Sustainability is an important issue within Kinnarps and we work at it on many different levels. Of course we are working hard to improve our own internal processes to reduce waste, but we are also looking at the waste management issue from a broader perspective. The ‘Clean Sweden’ campaign feels like an important promotion because it helps to both broaden young people's knowledge about the waste problem as well as taking an active part in the environmental effort. Changing attitudes towards littering and waste disposal takes time and this campaign has an important role to play to effect change.”
