The interior design group Kinnarps has today given notice to 18 office staff that their employment in Kinnarp will be coming to an end. The reason for the layoffs is efficiency measures.
Eighteen office staff in Kinnarp are affected by the notice. A total of 268 office staff work at this location. Negotiations will shortly commence with trade unions over the layoffs. Employees have been informed of the situation during the day.
Kinnarps' CEO Per-Arne Andersson comments:
"We have to review our costs in order to invest in growth areas and ensure our level of competitiveness. It is regrettable that we have to let talented employees go from the company, but unfortunately it is unavoidable. Our focus remains unchanged, and we will continue to increase the level of service we offer our customers and further consolidate our position as Europe's leading supplier of interiors."
