New premises in The Experience Centre Flamingo, Vantaa
Background
Medical Centre Jumbomed Oy has been founded in January 2007
The Associates have wanted to create an unchained, free, private medical centre in which the doctors as well as the other employees could feel good to work in. The new premises are situated in the brand new flamingo centre.
The interior design of the premises had to meet both the requirements of the building and of the company image. Besides good customer service, the space should give comfort to employees and boost their wellbeing at work.

Objectives
Premises that would promote welfare and customer comfort
The aim was to create a fresh and serene space, which would welcome the customers and strengthen the company statement, that working welfare can be promoted together with
people and good working environment.
The layout was bright, with natural wood and light tones, and also the furniture was meant to be clear in shape and light with Scandinavian style. Furthermore the furniture in the laboratory
had to be easy to wipe clean.
Solution
Warm wood together with bright colours create coziness
The spacious and light interior got refreshing red and blue
colours for the seating furniture. the colours are repeated in
patient rooms and lounge areas.
Yin chairs are used as visitor chairs both in the offices and the lounge, and Materias blazing red Omni chairs highlight one of the waiting rooms. Work stations, furnished with 5000 and Plus[6] desk chairs together with Series[t] sit/stand tables are flexible and ergonomic. the reception areas have
also got some robust Pio sofas and Wilson tables to give customers a cozy feeling while they wait.
