Robots can’t do everything

Craftsmanship for the future

We have been manufacturing furniture for over 65 years. At first, everything was based on individual craftsmanship. In the course of time, new machines were introduced and a lot of the work is now done by ultra-efficient robots. But there is still considerable craftsmanship involved which heralds from a time when nothing was thrown away. Before material goes to be recycled, it is examined carefully by experienced craftsmen who decide whether it might be used elsewhere. Thus part of a discarded desk top can be reborn as the front panel of a drawer! Some people might call it oldfashioned. We call it smart and future-oriented.

"It feels good to help the environment by means of experience and solid craftsmanship. It’s something both I and my grandchildren appreciate."
/Conny Quisth, Quality Controller at Kinnarps
