How will our workplaces and way of working change in the future? During the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Kinnarps presented its renowned Trend Report for 2015 – Workplace and lifespace design for the diverse decade.
In the report, top design, architecture, technology and psychology experts have made their views known on the workplace trends of the future. But that is not all. During the trade fair, it was possible to literally step into the trend report. The world-leading design studio, Nichetto Studio, was namely tasked with reproducing it in a tangible form in Kinnarps' stand. It was an immediate success that aroused the curiosity and emotions of many visitors to the fair. An interesting aspect is that when technology evolves at a ferocious pace, it becomes more and more important to design environments that revolve around people. "Collaboration" and "diversity" are also two keywords that permeate the report, and which could also be clearly seen in the stand's many creative work areas.“Progressiveness and creativity are becoming more and more important. It is important to identify new solutions, something which is absolutely necessary in a world where change is the only constant," says Kinnarps' Marketing Director Paulina Lundström. During the spring here at Kinnarps News, we will look closer at the five trends in the report. If you would like to know more now, you can read the full report at www.kinnarps.com/trend.
