Kinnarps is furnishing the IUCN’s new headquarters in Switzerland
Kinnarps was commissioned to furnish the IUCN’s new headquarters in Gland, Switzerland, which is due for completion in 2010. The International Union for Conservation of Nature is the world’s oldest and largest global environmental network whose members include public authorities and organizations from 181 countries.
The new headquarters will be a meeting place for everyone in the world involved in sustainable development. In connection with the building project, IUCN has signed agreements with partners who are environmental leaders in their respective fields.
− “One of the key aims of our new headquarters is to create a global example that meets the highest standards of ecological effi ciency,” says IUCN’s Director General Julia Marton-Lefevre. “By working together with partner companies such as Kinnarps, who are committed to sustainable development, we maximise our chances of realising this aim.”
