IUCN’s staff have a lot of books, reports and paperwork to store, and many travel on business frequently and need onsite clothing and bag storage facilities.
A variety of storage solutions were provided, from close-by personal storage in under-desk pedestals and larger cabinets to runs of suited bulk storage, all with inserts to match individual requirements.
Kinnarps produces modular systems that have a small footprint, yet offer a lot of storage capacity. Primarily, 100cm units were used, but some 80cm units were also produced, specifically for IUCN, to hold a wardrobe and shelves, and were fitted with acoustic panels, made with recycled fabric offcuts from Kinnarps’ factories, to help with noise reduction.
