Who are Buying Solutions?
Buying Solutions (previously known as OGCbuying.solutions) is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce in the Treasury. Their role is to provide a professional procurement service to the public sector to enable organisations to deliver improved value for money in their commercial activities.
Buying Solutions provide customers with a full range of products and services designed to encourage effective procurement, achieve measurable cost savings and improve the efficiency of the purchasing function throughout the public sector.
The agreement saves you the time, trouble and cost of managing a tendering process (that could take up to 77 days when full compliance with EU directives is required). You are able to purchase via the pre-approved agreements without having to tender, in the knowledge that you will receive the best possible value from approved suppliers.
