Expansion with due respect for human beings and the environment is the basic theme of this issue; it is also a mainstay of our own philosophy. Kinnarps has recently started cooperation with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Switzerland. This organisation is relatively unknown despite having worked with environmental issues on an international scale since 1948. We visited Richard Ellis in Milan and acquired an insight into how a global leader in real estate services approaches questions of design management. Materia has built new premises in Tranås Sweden. This ultra-modern building not only accommodates production, administration and display areas but is also permeated by a well-thought-out corporate philosophy. The same applies to our recently inaugurated display centre in Stockholm, Kinnarps Interior, where we show our full range in a brand new showroom. Denmark meets Sweden in Poland. We furnished the Warsaw office of Danish property developer Sjaelso, where interior design is one of several tools used to project the company’s image. So welcome to a new issue of Kinnarps Magazine that we hope will meet with your interest.
