Oy Lindell Ab is a family-owned company in the offi ce supplies sector that moved to new premises at Lauttasaari in Helsinki in Spring 2003. The new offi ce is about 200 m2 smaller than the old one.

Objectives

An ergonomic solution

The target was to create an ergonomic good solution in this smaller area where all employees have their own work station with furniture according to their needs.

Solution

An airier and more spacious work environment

The employees are very happy in their office and feel that their work environment is airier and more spacious than before. All employees have their own sit/stand desk and ergonomic office chairs. A pleasant chill-out space called a “Piazza” , furnished with attractive sofas and armchairs, is placed centrally in the open-plan offi ce landscape.
