Whilst Kinnarps  was founded on manufacturing office furniture, our business has evolved to offer a comprehensive range of furniture solutions for all types of workplace.

Modern learning environments have embraced many ideas from the business sector and now look to create durable, dynamic spaces; many diversifying into full community resources, catering for a wide range of ages, cultures and activities.

These changes have brought the needs of busines and education closer together. Places of work - be it study, business or welfare - have a commonality in that they need to function effectively, inspire the people who work in them, safeguard their well-being and deliver efficiencies, so that the organisation is prosperous.

We take a holistic view regarding the design of furniture, seeking to enhance the health and well-being of users - wherever they are -  through solid ergonomic design.
Why should a child be expected to sit in a chair that would be deemed ‘non-compliant’ in an office situation?

We also believe that our products must be produced in the most environmentally friendly manner. As a result we have international recognition of our leading position in the production of sustainable solutions and this is underpinned by our rigorous EMAS certification process.

Kinnarps believe in providing personal support throughout the entire evolution of a project using our own directly employed and trained staff. Therefore our in-house designers and project managers will develop the furniture scheme working in close collaboration with the building project team and client as required. The project will be delivered and installed using our own fitting teams.
