Kinnarps makes a major investment – opens 1,200 sqm of sustainable interior solutions in Gothenburg

Last Thursday, Kinnarps inaugurated its new showroom in Gothenburg. The 1,200 square metre space offers an exciting opportunity for visitors to explore sustainable interior solutions for office, education, and care across two floors.

A strategic move

Peter Bjärtros, Head of Sales for Kinnarps Sweden, explains that the move to the expanding area of Gårda marks a strategically important investment for the company. “This move represents a significant boost for us in Gothenburg. We see great potential in the expanding and attractive area of Gårda, and we are getting even closer to our customers,” says Bjärtros. With the new location, Kinnarps sees an opportunity not only to strengthen its presence in the region but also to increase its accessibility for local and national clients.

A place for inspiration and creativity

The new showroom has been designed to be more than just a showroom. It serves as a meeting place for customers and visitors looking to be inspired by workplace design and sustainable solutions. Sofia Sjöholm, Sales Manager at Kinnarps Gothenburg, explains that the showroom is designed to showcase the company’s comprehensive offering. “Kinnarps’ offering is unique in the industry – it includes thorough needs analysis, innovative interior design, smooth implementation, and solid follow-up,” says Sjöholm. “Here, we have created a place to meet, where we provide knowledge and inspiration. Our customers and visitors will experience how the physical environment impacts everything from wellbeing and safety to productivity, efficiency, and creativity.”

Environmentally certified premises with a focus on sustainability

The newly opened showroom is located in the environmentally certified building, Gröna Skrapan, a symbol of sustainable construction in Gothenburg. The building has achieved high standards for environmental performance, and Kinnarps’ showroom reflects these values by highlighting sustainable material choices and solutions. Placing the showroom in Gröna Skrapan is a deliberate choice that mirrors Kinnarps’ long-term commitment to sustainability and environmentally friendly design.
With this new initiative, Kinnarps strengthens its position as a leading player in sustainable interior solutions. The showroom is not just a space to showcase products; it is an arena where ideas and innovations can be born, tested, and developed, with a focus on the workplaces of the future.
