Client projects: AMARRIS / ECL

Buoyed by their success and their expansion, the managers of the companies Amarris and ECL Direct, accounting practices, were thinking in 2012 about the option of building premises to their own design to house their 130 employees. And in 2015 this was completed, with 2 buildings being constructed.

FACTS & FIGURES

The first building, on its first and second floors, houses: ECL, the online experts, and on the third floor is Amarris Conseil – a traditional accounting practice. The ground floor is reserved for the further 30 employees who will join ECL by 2017. The 2nd building is used for common areas designed to improve user well-being: meeting room, company restaurant, lounge area and a sports room! In fact, the senior managers, themselves inveterate sportsmen, believe strongly in the value of sport within the company. Their employees' loyalty proves them right: Amarris and ECL are good places to work.

AIM: PROVIDE A GOOD-QUALITY AREA FOR WELCOMING CUSTOMERS

The various areas spread across the 600 m2 of each floor consist of an open space for 8 to 12 people with POC storage units closing off the workspaces when the user wants more privacy, but also various meeting rooms and manager areas. The premises are fresh and brightly coloured, thanks to the harmonious colours used on the partitions, carpeting and fabric for the bench seating. On the other hand, areas where customers may be received are sleeker, with particularly elegant furniture: the tables made of wood panelling and the backs of chairs made of shaped wood.

"We are very proud of our offices. They send out a powerful message: we are a company that is growing with and thanks to our employees and our customers. We value the people who work here and thank those who provide us with our work," says Cédric Gaborit, Managing Director of the company.

He also confirms that Kinnarps' assistance was an important element throughout the project. "We spoke to them about supplying the furniture, but in the end Kinnarps assisted us with the entire project: an audit of the layout, advice on space and user ergonomics, recommendations for acoustics..."
